We believe in order to "S.E.E" a bright future, our eyes have to be open to the world of possibilities. Learn more about our pillars to see how we're helping create new vision.
Our goal is to provide educational workshops, resources, and supports to underresourced communities. We can only do this with the involvement and support of people like you. Together we can collectively strengthen our larger global community!
We have partnered with organizations, Ahaspora and Children's Health International, to achieve our share goals. When you support our Communities of H.O.P.E Initiative, you are helping others pursue excellence for themselves, their families, and community. Please inquire about the many different ways to engage in service initiatives.
We believe that all children need equitable access to the supports, and resources that allow them to thrive academically. It includes projects like Books 4 Change that help children develop their personal libraries and Read 4 Change that conducts book clubs, writer's clubs, read-aloud events, and literacy workshops to support strengthening literacy skills of children. We focus on books that foster the building of relationships and understanding among diverse groups.
We also believe that all individuals deserve the opportunity to develop skills irrespective of age. Learning to Emerge has partnered to provide training for adults in the field of information technology. Contact us for more information on Tech2Emerge.
Our ability to perceive the world around us is shaped by our environment. To see beyond our circumstances requires a conscious decision to hope for more than what we are currently exposed to, which in turn enhances our vision for the future. At Learning to Emerge, we believe that children, youth, and families learn best through immersive experiences. This includes cultural presentations, educational trips, and opportunities to explore new things in a nurturing environment. We aim to change the narrative, especially for our Black and Brown children, by providing enriching cultural experiences that often highlight African heritage. Through these experiences, we strive to instill a sense of pride in children by helping them understand and appreciate their cultural identity. Additionally, we hope that people from other cultures and ethnicities recognize that not knowing anything about a culture or having limited knowledge often leads to misconceptions. By fostering mutual respect and understanding, we can create a more inclusive and harmonious world.
